Who we are

Tendue centers on offering visually inspiring settings uniquely designed to optimize the event experience for mid-sized groups and photographers. It’s our goal is to enable experiences that evoke an appreciation for the moment, inspire creative thoughts and connect our community. We love having Portland as our brand home and the location of our first space and are energized by the opportunity to expand into new markets soon!

Role overview and main activities

Our new team member is in love with Tendue as a space and as a concept that brings people together to create, connect, and celebrate. This new teammate will support our operations by providing an incredible experience to all our current guests and potential customers through the activities below.

  • Check-in, check-out, and cleaning duties in between.

  • Arrive 1.5 hours ahead of client booking start to perform any cleaning necessary to ensure Tendue is sparkling clean space, properly arranged, and ready for client arrival.

  • Greet clients at the start of their booking and complete a brief pre-event walkthrough to provide a brief overview of the space, capture its pre-event condition, review Tendue’s event policies and answer any questions clients may have.

  • Arrive 5 minutes ahead of client booking end to thank clients and complete a brief post-event walkthrough to capture the post-event condition of the space and associated fees, and answer any questions clients may have.

  • After client departure, perform any cleaning necessary to ensure Tendue is sparkling clean and properly arranged for the next booking.

  • Providing venue tours to prospective clients, reviewing Tendue’s features and answering client questions.

Other tasks

  • Cleaning: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, doing dishes, taking out trash, etc.

  • Managing bookings with Google Calendar, Google Voice and Acuity Scheduling

  • Operating freight elevator for clients as needed

  • Watering plants

  • Inventorying and restocking supplies

Pay and perks:

  • $15/hour,

  • Semi-flexible schedule ~10 - 20 hours each week (evenings and weekends)

  • Free use of Tendue outside of bookings
